He is Mighty to Save

The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will

take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will

rejoice over you with singing.

May God Bless Australia-The Last Leader Who Hasn’t Gone Political Correctness Crazy

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd - Australia

America has been blessed since it became a country. But now America is following Europe in essentially trying to “ban” God in all ways possible and remove all remnants of Christianity in fear some atheist or someone from another religion out there may be offended. If you are that fragile and sensitive to get offended by anything Christian you are too fragile, sensitive and get offended too easily to live and survive in this world and have got a tough life ahead of you. May God bless Kevin Rudd and Australia-who’s not afraid of offending some non Christian immigrant. His message is clear-if you don’t like it, then leave. I haven’t yet heard of him banning the Christmas tree and renaming it a holiday tree in political correctness insanity. May Kevin Rudd stay strong and keep his backbone and don’t back down to pressures of the EU.

Muslims who want to live under Islamic

Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out

of Australia , as the government targeted

radicals in a bid to head off potential terror

attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian

Muslims on Wednesday by saying he

supported spy agencies monitoring the

nation’s mosques.

Quote: ‘IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS,

MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired

of this nation worrying about whether we are

offending some individual or their culture.

Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have

experienced a surge in patriotism by the

majority of Australians’.

‘This culture has been developed over two

centuries of struggles, trials and victories by

millions of men and women who have sought

freedom’. ‘We speak mainly ENGLISH, not

Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese,

Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if

you wish to become part of our society . Learn

the language!’

‘Most Australians believe in God. This is not

some Christian, right wing, political push, but

a fact, because Christian men and women, on

Christian principles, founded this nation, and

this is clearly documented. It is certainly

appropriate to display it on the walls of our

schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you

consider another part of the world as your new

home, because God is part of our culture.’

‘We will accept your beliefs, and will not

question why. All we ask is that you accept

ours, and live in harmony and peaceful

enjoyment with us.’

‘This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and

OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every

opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are

done complaining, whining, and griping about

Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or

Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take

advantage of one other great Australian

freedom,

‘THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.’

‘If you aren’t happy here then LEAVE. We

didn’t force you to come here. You asked

to be here. So accept the country YOU

accepted.’

Maybe if we circulate this,  citizens will find

the backbone to start speaking and voicing the

same truths.

If you agree, please SEND THIS ON.

Signs of the Times?

Sadly the American government is looking for ways to legally prosecute pastors for their sermons and to criminalize evangelism. Preachers will not be allowed to even discuss or preach on certain areas of the Bible or risk facing prosecution for “hate crimes”.

The “hate crimes” bill paved the way for pastors and sermons to be criminalized and made illegal. Talk about tribulation and persecution. Whatever happened to freedom of religion in our constitution? It’s dying right now.

I first learned about the “hate crimes bill” and things to come during a conference held by Perry Stone in this area. I never heard of Perry Stone before but he’s a “prohpetic preacher” where he has prophecies which have come true again and again as well as his own show on TBN. He warned he himself would be in trouble soon and told what he could or could not preach about. This has already happened in other countries, but now it’s happening in we-thought-we-were-free America.

Write down the names of all senators who voted on this anti-Christian bill in disguise and be sure not to vote for these senators when re-election comes up. If there are enough Christians, that is. In the end days, very few people will be Christians. The ones that are will be horribly persecuted.

AFA warns senators: Your vote on thought crimes bill will be remembered

The American Family Association (AFA) today put every senator who voted for the so-called “hate crimes” bill on notice that pro-family Americans will remember their votes when they stand for re-election.

Tim Wildmon, president of the AFA, said, “This vote is simply too important to ignore. The law created by this bill is exceedingly dangerous and represents a huge step toward normalizing homosexual and transsexual behavior in this country.

“It creates a kind of caste system in law enforcement, where the perverse thing is that people who engage in non-normative sexual behavior will have more legal protection than heterosexuals. This kind of inequality before the law is simply un-American.

“Worse, it creates possible scenarios where pastors can be sent to jail if their sermons on sexuality can be connected in even the remotest way to an act of violence. It threatens free speech and freedom of religion and is totally unacceptable.”

Added Bryan Fischer, the AFA’s director of issues analysis, “Despite the protests of homosexual activists, this is a communist-style law against politically-incorrect thoughts, since there are enhanced criminal penalties that aren’t based on what somebody did but on what they were thinking at the time.

“Thomas Jefferson said the law should ‘reach actions only, and not opinions,’ and this law completely trashes that concept of justice. This is a law that is unworthy of any free and just society.

“We believe that every act of violence is a hate crime, and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law regardless of the victim’s race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation.”

The AFA sent out an action alert today to its 2.6 million member network, letting members know how their senators voted and urging them to contact their senators to criticize or commend them for their vote, and to inform them that their vote will not be forgotten when they stand for re-election.

“Just Listen”

Here is an article I wrote for the Lexington edition of the Examiner entitled Just Listen. It talks about how there are a lot of talkers, but not many who are good listeners.

Have you ever needed to say something, explain something, or unburden yourself but you were interrupted and just weren’t listened to? It’s very frustrating.

The Bible encourages us to be good listeners, to think before we speak and be slow to anger.

Please take a read and comments are appreciated:

Quit Trying to Please Everybody

This email from Perfect Driven Connection came at a very good timing for me. I had just been badly hurt by a couple that I thought were friends at one time but were never friends in the first place. As I said in the last post, someone decided to tell some lies about me and this couple wouldn’t even listen to my side of the story and just put me down and sat on their high horses and judged me. They must have not read the part in the Bible that says: Do not judge lest you be judged and you will be judged in the same manner that you judge others. Not only are these fake friends so judgmental, they don’t even realize it. I have purged them from my life because they have brought me 2 years of pain, tears, insults, rejection, putdowns, and heartache. Before that I actually thought they were nice and friends. I have even stopped going to the church I used to go to, because this judgmental couple go there and I don’t want to see them or have anything to do with them ever again. I’m finished being their doormat. I don’t care what they think or say about me, they have nothing to do with me or my life. I don’t need their approval or love, I need GOD’S love. Anyway here is the email written by Pastor Rick Warren:

Quit Trying to Please Everybody
by Rick Warren

“It is dangerous to be concerned with what others think of you” (Proverbs 29:25 GN).

When we worry about what other people think, we let them control us. We waste a lot of time and energy trying to figure out what other people want us to be. Then, we waste a lot of time and energy trying to become like that rather than just being what God made us to be. You’re manipulated and controlled by somebody else.

Worrying about what other people think is dangerous because we’re more likely to cave in to criticism. It means we don’t always do the right thing; instead, we do the thing that everybody wants us to do.

And we’re in danger of missing God’s best because we’re so worried about what other people what us to do that we can’t stop to think about what God wants us to do.

Fact #1: You cannot please everybody. Even God can’t please everybody. One person prays for it to rain; another prays for it to be sunny. In the Super Bowl, both teams are praying that they will win. Who is God going to answer? God can’t please everybody. Only a fool would try to do what even God can’t do. You can’t please everybody.

Fact #2: It’s not necessary to please everybody. There is a myth that says you must be loved and approved by everybody in order to be happy. That’s just not true. You don’t have to please everybody in order to be happy in life.

Fact #3: Rejection will not ruin your life. It hurts, sure. It’s not fun. It’s uncomfortable. But rejection will not ruin your life unless you let it.

Quit trying to please everybody! Remember that nobody can make you feel inferior unless you give them permission.

The Apostle Paul says, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 TEV) This means we can think like this: ‘God likes me, and I like me; if you don’t like me, then you’ve got a problem. If God likes me, who cares that everybody doesn’t approve of everything I do.’

Remember, nothing you ever do will make God love you less. Nothing you ever do will make God love you more. He loves you completely right now.

Sometimes You Have to Weed People Out of Your Life

When you realize that people you thought were friends who turned out to be nothing of a friend, it hurts.

Recently someone made up lies about me. 2 people I used to think were friends-a couple-believed the lies right off the bat. I tried to tell them my side, but they wouldn’t even listen. I couldn’t even finish a single sentence before they’d interrupt me so they could judge me, tell me how I was doing everything wrong, putting me down, and accused me of lying when I was telling the truth.

These people have brought nothing but pain, heartache and negativity in my life for the past 2 years. At first they were very nice and I cared for them a lot. I did a lot for them. But got so much pain in return.

For example-the woman had surgery and I spent money I couldn’t really afford at Bath and Body works and brough dinner to her home. When I had surgery she didn’t so much as call or email me to ask how I was.

Every Christmas for the past 3 years I have gotten them gifts and they’ve gotten me nothing. This past Christmas the woman was angry and holding a grudge over something petty that happened in JUNE and gave everyone in church a Christmas card EXCEPT me. This rejection hurt and despite her grudge I still got them Christmas gifts.

They are always making comments and saying things to put me down and insult me. And these people call themselves Christians, yet they live on their high horse. I wonder if they informed God that they are going to take his place on Judgement Day.

If a TRUE friend hears lies or stories about a friend, they will definitely want to hear the friend’s side of the story. And if they are TRUE friends, whether they know the whole story or nothing of the story, they still will love you and not judge you.

Well I have purged these people from my lives who have brought so many tears, pain, rejection, and heartache.

It’s time to get rid of the negative and replace it with positive.

If you have fake friends in your life or people who are always putting you down and causing pain and negativity, the best thing to do is just get them out of your life and move on with your own life. Don’t try to please them and don’t worry about what they think about you. They have no power over you unless you give it to them.

Sometimes such as if you must work or go to school with a person like this, the best thing to do is ignore them and have nothing to do with them and focus on your own life to keep the negativity out of your life.

Everyone probably runs across people they thought were friends but later found out they were never friends in the first place. It hurts, but it’s best to get them out of your life as soon as possible.

Alpha and Omega-Verse of the Day

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

(Revelation 1:8)

When You Feel Abandoned by God, Worship Him Anyway

by Rick Warren

“Christ was without sin, but for our sake God made him share our sin in order that in union with him we might share the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21 TEV).

When you feel abandoned by God yet continue to trust Him in spite of your feelings, you worship Him in the deepest way.

Remember what God has already done for you. If God never did anything else for you, He would still deserve your continual praise for the rest of your life because of what Jesus did for you on the cross. God’s Son died for you! This is the greatest reason for worship.

Unfortunately, we forget the cruel details of the agonizing sacrifice God made on our behalf. Familiarity breeds complacency. Even before His crucifixion, the Son of God was stripped naked, beaten until almost unrecognizable, whipped, scorned and mocked, crowned with thorns, and spit on contemptuously. Abused and ridiculed by heartless men, He was treated worse than an animal.

Then, nearly unconscious from blood loss, he was forced to drag a cumbersome cross up a hill, was nailed to it, and was left to die the slow, excruciating torture of death by crucifixion. While His lifeblood drained out, hecklers stood by and shouted insults, making fun of His pain and challenging His claim to be God.

The Window Through Which We Look

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.

The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside. “That laundry is not very clean”, she said. “She doesn’t know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap.”

Her husband looked on, but remained silent.

Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments.

About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:

“Look, she has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this.”

The husband said, “I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows.”

And so it is with life. What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look.

The Lord Looks at the Heart-Verse of the Day

“But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

1 Samuel 16:7
